From a young age, I’ve always been fascinated by stories. I loved the way they transported me to different worlds, offering new perspectives and leaving me transformed by the end of the journey. As a visual learner, I dreamed of expressing narratives through visuals.
I majored in a music theatre program in high school and took a gap year to travel across the US and Europe. After returning, I enrolled in a video production program at the Toronto Film School, aiming to learn as much as I could through extra courses and hands-on experience.
I was initially involved in creating advertisements and collaborating on various film projects, and it was the art of storytelling that really resonated with me. Influenced by Joseph Campbell's hero’s journey, I aim to focus on crafting mini movie-style films that capture the unique creative journeys of individuals. In my heart, I believe everyone has a story to share. Outside of filmmaking, I find joy in reading, journaling, dancing, singing, yoga, playing the ukulele and piano, cooking, practicing Aikido, and being in nature.
