Fresh Roots Food Forest & Garden Program
The Fresh Roots Food Forest & Garden Program, operated by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) in Grey Bruce, employs individuals with mental health and/or addiction experiences to grow healthy produce for the community.
I created this video highlighting the Fresh Roots Food Forest & Garden Program, featuring an interview with Teresa, the program manager. Teresa discusses the program's goal of enhancing mental health through gardening and emphasizes its benefits for participants.
Some of the produce from the gardens is used at Fresh Roots Café and Catering: an innovative social enterprise of CMHA Grey Bruce. Profits from the café contribute to Fresh Roots’ operations and initiatives. Below are some photos I captured of the café.
